The World Weavers Organization (WWO) successfully hosted the USA–North East Regional Conference 2026 in New Jersey, bringing together members of the global weaver community on a common platform.
Held at Royal Albert’s Palace in Fords, New Jersey, the conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from weaver community members, professionals, doctors, business owners, entrepreneurs, students and families from across the United States, Canada and other countries.
The event brought together representatives from several traditional weaver communities, including Padmashali, Devanga, Thogata Veera Kshatriya, Bhavasara Kshatriya, Karnabhakthulu, Kurni, Pattusali, Swakulasali, Khatri, Saliyar, Saurashtrians, Kaikala and several other communities.
The conference provided a valuable platform for community networking, collaboration, cultural connections and social empowerment. Participants discussed ways to strengthen communication among global weaver communities and expand community-oriented initiatives.
WWO also highlighted its commitment to empowering weavers, supporting philanthropic activities, providing financial assistance and undertaking charitable initiatives as part of its mission.
The event was organized under the leadership of WWO Founding Chairman Anjan Karnati, along with founders Harinath Policherla, Raj Addagatla, Ramesh Munukutla and Saradhi Karyampudi.
With strong participation and enthusiastic support from the community, the WWO USA–North East Regional Conference 2026 concluded as a grand success, marking another significant step toward bringing weaver communities across the world closer together.
