Helping families plan for the future
The TANA Mid-Atlantic Chapter organised a community-focused Will & Trust Drive in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, aimed at helping Telugu families better understand estate and family planning.
Held on August 29, the programme attracted more than 60 participants, reflecting growing interest in preparing legal and financial plans for families living in the United States.
The initiative was open not only to TANA members but also to members of the wider community.
Focus on wills and trusts
The programme provided participants with information about the importance of having a will or trust, the process involved in setting them up and their role in protecting family interests.
For immigrant families, long-term planning can be particularly important because family members, assets and financial interests may span different locations.
The event was designed to provide participants with an opportunity to discuss their individual planning needs in an organised setting.
Free planning support
Chugh Financial Services extended support for the programme and provided participants with an opportunity to complete their Will and Trust planning free of charge, according to TANA Benefits Coordinator Venkat Singhu.
The organisers scheduled individual time slots for participating families, allowing each family to discuss and work through its planning requirements without overcrowding or delays.
Well-organised six-hour programme
The drive was conducted from 10 AM to 6 PM, with appointments arranged in advance.
The structured schedule allowed families to receive individual attention and complete the planning process in a comfortable environment.
TANA team appreciated
TANA Board Director Ravi Potluri congratulated the Mid-Atlantic team for successfully conducting the initiative.
He also recognised Satish Nalla of Chugh Financial Services for the organisation's support and sponsorship of the programme. Special appreciation was also extended to Ranjith Mamidi for his contribution to the event's success.

The programme was conducted with guidance from TANA President Dr. Naren Kodali, Executive Vice President Srinivas Lavu, Board Director Ravi Potluri, Mid-Atlantic Regional Representative Phani Kantheti and Benefits Coordinator Venkat Singhu.
