Anna Madhu, who has served as the President of the Telugu Fine Arts Society (TFAS) for the past two years, has stepped down after successfully completing his term. Effective June 1, Mrs. Makam Uma has assumed office as the new President of the organization. On this occasion, Anna Madhu shared a heartfelt message with TFAS members, reflecting on his experiences and expressing gratitude to everyone who supported him during his tenure.
Anna Madhu stated that serving as the President of TFAS, an organization that has been serving the Telugu community in New Jersey for the past 42 years, was one of the greatest opportunities and privileges of his life. He emphasized that TFAS has always been committed to organizing value-based programs that promote culture, community engagement, and social responsibility. He noted that, during his tenure, he worked to bring diverse and meaningful programs that reflected various aspects of society and the interests of the Telugu community.
He acknowledged that the support of the executive committee played a crucial role in the success of the organization over the last two years. In particular, he expressed his sincere appreciation to the eight executive committee members who worked alongside him with dedication, friendship, and commitment. Their collective efforts, he said, made it possible to successfully organize numerous impactful events.
Anna Madhu also extended special thanks to the donors whose generous contributions helped TFAS conduct its programs successfully. He noted that the unwavering support of members, donors, and volunteers was instrumental in achieving the organization's goals and sustaining its activities.
Reflecting on his journey, he said that the friendships, relationships, and memories formed over the past two years would remain among his most cherished experiences. He expressed confidence that these bonds would continue to bring joy and inspiration in the years ahead.
As he concluded his tenure, Anna Madhu congratulated Mrs. Makam Uma on assuming the presidency and wished her great success in leading the organization forward. He expressed hope that under her leadership, TFAS would continue to grow and serve the Telugu community with distinction.
