Revanth Reddy Seeks Four-Week Extension for Telangana Electoral Roll Revision

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has asked the Election Commission of India to extend the claims and objections period under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by four weeks. He said the large number of entries requiring verification makes the existing timeframe inadequate and called for more time, helpdesks and additional manpower to protect eligible voters.
