In a spectacular celebration of Telugu culture, Indian spirituality, and performing arts, SANATHAN presented the grand live divine drama "Hara Hara Mahadeva" on August 1, 2026, at the Jamesburg Performing Arts Center (JMPAC) in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The event captivated audiences with a breathtaking theatrical presentation that brought the timeless stories of Lord Shiva to life.
Designed to promote Telugu cultural heritage on the global stage, the production combined spirituality, classical storytelling, music, dance, and state-of-the-art stagecraft, creating an unforgettable experience for families and devotees across the tri-state area.
The live drama featured some of the most revered episodes from the Shiva Purana, including Lingodbhava, Daksha Yajna, Parvati Kalyanam, Gangavataranam, Gajasura Samharam, and Ravana Darpa Bhangam. Each episode was presented with impressive stage design, dynamic lighting, visual effects, elaborate costumes, and powerful performances, immersing the audience in the rich spiritual traditions of India.
One of the highlights of the evening was a grand dance presentation featuring more than 150 students. Their synchronized performances beautifully showcased devotion, discipline, and the richness of Telugu and Indian cultural traditions, earning standing ovations from the audience.
