Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations were held with great devotion and enthusiasm at Villas at Fairways in Piscataway, New Jersey, from September 14 to 19, bringing families and devotees together for several days of prayers, bhajans, cultural programs, and community celebrations.
The festivities began with the Ganesha Sthapana Pooja on September 14, followed by a community potluck. Daily morning and evening aartis, along with prasadam distribution, continued throughout the celebrations.
Bhajans, devotional activities, and special performances by children added a vibrant cultural touch to the festivities. Families gathered in large numbers to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings and participate in the community celebrations.
$9,000 Ladoo Auction Highlights Final Day
The final day featured special poojas and a community potluck, followed by the much-anticipated Ladoo Auction. The highlight of the celebrations was the auction of the Ganesh ladoo for an impressive $9,000.
Following the auction, devotees came together for the Grand Ganesha Visarjan, marking the conclusion of the celebrations with devotion and traditional rituals.
The festivities at Villas at Fairways showcased the community’s devotion to Lord Ganesha while bringing together families, children, and devotees in a celebration of faith, tradition, culture, and togetherness.
