Telangana Association of Florida (TGFL) is established as a non-profit organization with an objective to promote, preserve and encourage the rich Telangana culture, festivals, language, art and unique traditions of Telugu speaking people across Florida. When culture is preserved and kept intact and people take pride in their heritage then everything else will fall into its place.
Preserve and promote the language, culture, traditions, and festivals of Telangana. Strengthen bonds among Telugu families living in Florida. Organize cultural, educational, literary, and social programs for all age groups. Encourage youth participation through leadership, volunteerism, and cultural activities. Support charitable and community service initiatives that benefit both local communities and people in need. Build meaningful relationships with other Indian-American organizations and the wider multicultural community.

The Telangana Association of Florida (TAF) was established to serve the growing Telangana-origin community across Florida. Recognizing the need for a dedicated platform to celebrate Telangana's unique traditions and cultural identity, community leaders came together to create an organization that promotes unity, cultural awareness, and social responsibility. Over the years, TAF has grown into an active nonprofit organization, hosting festivals, family events, educational programs, youth initiatives, and community service projects that bring people together while strengthening cultural roots.
TAF is led by a dedicated team of elected and volunteer members who work together to organize events and community programs. The committee typically includes: President Vice President General Secretary Joint Secretary Treasurer Executive Vice President Cultural Committee Youth Committee Women's Committee Sports Committee Community Service Committee Membership Committee Media & Public Relations Committee Event Coordination Team Executive Board and Advisory Board Together, these volunteers contribute their time and expertise to ensure the association continues to serve the community effectively.

The Telangana Association of Florida (TGFL) celebrated the Bonalu festival with great grandeur in Tampa Bay, Florida. More than 2,100 members of the Telugu and Telangana community from across the Tampa Bay area attended the celebrations, making the event a vibrant showcase of Telangana culture and traditions.

The Telangana Association of Florida (TGFL) is all set to host the Miami Bonalu 2026 celebrations, bringing together the Telugu community in Florida to celebrate one of Telangana's most vibrant and sacred festivals. The grand event will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, promising a day filled with devotion, culture, entertainment, and community spirit.
