The much-awaited trailer of Karthi’s Sardar 2 has arrived, offering a glimpse into a darker and more ambitious chapter of the spy-action franchise.
Directed by P.S. Mithran, the sequel once again features Karthi in a dual role, portraying both Agent Chandra Bose, known as Sardar, and his son Vijay Prakash. The trailer moves between the past and present, connecting an old covert mission with a new threat that puts Vijay at the centre of a dangerous operation.
A mission from the past refuses to stay buried
The trailer revisits a mission from Chandra Bose’s earlier days as a spy. Although the operation appears to have been completed successfully, its consequences continue to haunt him years later.
The story then shifts to Vijay Prakash, who has followed his father's footsteps into the world of espionage. Vijay is assigned a high-risk mission involving thousands of lives, but even after the operation is declared successful, he suspects that something is not right.
