Ladakh, despite being endowed with vast glacier and snowmelt reserves, has historically suffered from severe irrigation shortages. Every summer, millions of litres of meltwater flow untapped into the Indus, even as cultivable land remains parched. This initiative marks the first systematic effort to bridge that long-standing imbalance
